Description	:	Lucile Rose Goodrich, 95 of rural Hudson, passed away on Decemeber 24, 2015 at the Laurels of Dekalb in Butler, Indiana. The daughter of Guy and Wavah (Everitt) Crowl of rural Hamilton, Indiana. Lucile was born July 15, 1920. Lucile graduated from Hamilton High School in 1938. Read More	Lucile Rose Goodrich, 95 of rural Hudson, passed away on Decemeber 24, 2015 at the Laurels of Dekalb in Butler, Indiana. The daughter of Guy and Wavah (Everitt) Crowl of rural Hamilton, Indiana. Lucile was born July 15, 1920. Lucile graduated from Hamilton High School in 1938. Following high school she attended Tri-State College in Angola, Indiana where she studied secretarial sciences. On October 7, 1944 she married Herman Halbert Burch and together they had four children Jean, Dean, Eileen, and Neal. Lucile and Herman moved to a farm in the rural Hudson area in 1956 and they became members of the Hudson United Methodist Church shortly thereafter. After the death of Herman Burch on March 16, 1962, she became a shining example of Christian love, strength, and selflessness to her family and with the help of her brother, Donald Crowl of Hamilton. Lucile was able to keep the farm and provide for her family. On the 5th of March 1971 Lucile married Ralph Allen Goodrich, also a member of Hudson United Methodist Church. Lucile was a faithful member of the Hudson United Methodist Church for over 50 years, serving as secretary and pianist. She was a member of the Beta Farmers Club and Salem Center Study Club. She is survived by two daughters, Jean Simpson of Booneville Arkansas and Eileen Burch of Hindsboro, Illinois; two sons Dean Burch and Neal Burch both of Hudson; three step-daughters Eleanor Gregory of Hudson, Helen Bunnell of Dahlonega Georgia, and Beverly Snyder of Bryan Ohio; eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren; three step=grandchildren; and six step great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband Herman Halbert Burch (1919-1962). Her second husband, Ralph Allen Goodrich (1921-1995) and her brother Donald D. Crowl (1929-1986). Funeral services will be Wednesday December 30, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at Johnson Funeral Home of Hudson with Pastor Tamra Gerber officiating. Calling will be Tuesday from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hamilton Cemetery.
