Read More	* IN LOVING MEMORY OF * Lucile Susie (Rankin) Reifschneider-Kuhlemeier was born on Monday; January 3, 1927 in Hardin County, Iowa. She was the daughter of: Braiden and Clara (Rockow) Rankin. Lucile graduated from Iowa Falls High School 1943 and continued her education by attending Ellsworth Community College where she received her teaching certificate in 1945. Luci began teaching first grade at Hubbard Community School 1946 and 1947. She published and edited the Hubbard Review and had a "Cook's Corner" column in the North Central Farmer for ten years, now known as the Iowa Falls Advertiser. Luci also took part in raising funds for building the golf course and swimming pool for the Hubbard Community. In January of 1971, Luci joined Mary Kay Cosmetics becoming a beauty consultant and advanced to the position of future national sales director. She was consistently a top unit nationally and was named the first "Miss Go-Give" annual award by Mary Kay. Luci shared so much of herself with the new friends she had met and remained active with Mary Kay Cosmetics to the end. On July 19, 1947, Luci married Lowell Henry Reifschneider and remained married 34 years. Luci and Lowell shared their life together until his passing May 15, 1982. Seven years later, she married Horace "Pat" Kuhlemeier on October 8, 1989. They enjoyed 18 years, sharing their life together until Pat's passing April 4, 2008. Over the years, Luci enjoyed watching her kids and grandkids play sports and enjoyed some serious UNO games with her grandchildren. Lucile Susie (Rankin) Reifschneider-Kuhlemeier, age 83, passed away on Saturday; August 7, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center in Mason City; Cerro Gordo County, Iowa. Those left to mourn her passing are: Her sons: Larry (Judy) Reifschneider of Louisville, Colorado; Don Reifschneider of Oneida, New York and Randy (Lori) Reifschneider of Hubbard, Iowa. Her step-children Court (Sandra) Kuhlemeier of Rockford, Iowa; Cindy (Larry) Brandau of Ventura, Iowa and Kathy (Ken) Bushbaum of Rudd, Iowa. Her eighteen grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren. Her brother and sister-in-law James (Kathryn) Rankin of Iowa Falls, Iowa and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Merv and (Evie) Reifschneider of Hubbard, Iowa. Lucile was preceded in death by her parents, her two husbands: Lowell Reifschneider and Pat Kuhlemeier. Her sister: Shirley Ioerger and her brother: Bobbie Rankin. May they rest in peace. May God bless her memory and give strength to those that mourn. Visitation will be from: 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday; August 11, 2010 at the Salem United Methodist Church in Hubbard, Iowa. Funeral services will begin at: 10:30 a.m. on Thursday; August 12, 2010 also at the Salem United Methodist Church in Hubbard, Iowa. Interment will be at the Hubbard Cemetery in Hubbard, Iowa. The Boeke Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
