Read More	Married June 2, 1927 in Beresford, Lincoln Co., SD Lucile Anna Eklund was born in Garfield township, Clay County, SD to parents William and Hulda Eklund. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. She graduated from high school and went on to graduate from the SD Teachers Normal School at Aberdeen, SD. She taught at several schools in South Dakota before her marriage. She married Clarence Oscar "Flunky" Sundstrom on June 2, 1927 at Beresford, SD. They lived in Beresford where Flunky ran "Flunky's Garage." When he retired they moved to Alexandria, MN where they helped their daughter and son-in-law, Von and Ron Johnson run a resort on Lake Carlos. Flunky was in his element, being able to take guests out fishing and fishing every day. After Flunky's death at Alexandria, Lucile moved with her daughter's family to Gustine, CA. After a few years they returned to Marshall, MN where Lucile lived out her life. Lucile was a faithful member of the First Lutheran Church and the Ladie's Circle in Marshall. She passed away at her residence of a lingering illness. Lucile and Flunky had one daughter, LaVon, and one son, Clarence Owen, who died in infancy.
