Description	:	Lucille Emma Bourassa, 82, died Wed., Oct. 12, 2005 at home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with heart disease and cancer. She was born in Winslow, June 26, 1923, a daughter of Donat and Lucy (Dostie) Bourassa. She was educated in Winslow Schools and was a member of St. Bridget Catholic Church in North Vassalboro. Upon her mother's death in 1939, she made the decision at 16 years of age to stay at home and care for the family with her Dad. Read More	Lucille Emma Bourassa, 82, died Wed., Oct. 12, 2005 at home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with heart disease and cancer. She was born in Winslow, June 26, 1923, a daughter of Donat and Lucy (Dostie) Bourassa. She was educated in Winslow Schools and was a member of St. Bridget Catholic Church in North Vassalboro. Upon her mother's death in 1939, she made the decision at 16 years of age to stay at home and care for the family with her Dad. She later finished high school and became a licensed beautician doing her apprenticeship in her aunt's beauty shop in Waterville. She is survived by bothers and sisters, Donald Bourassa of Augusta, Leo, Frank, Ralph Bourassa and wife Brenda, Yvette (Jackie) Bourassa all of Winslow and Irma Munro of Waterville; sisters-in-law, JoAnn Bourassa of Winslow, Giselle Bourassa of Lewiston; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; brothers and sisters, Annette Thurlow, Ernest, Lawrence, Carl, Richard, Rena, and Mona Bourassa. Burial will be in St. Francis Catholic Cemetery.(Gallant Funeral Home)
