Description	:	"Lucille Irene Bidwell, age 80, of Broadus, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2000, at her home. Lucille was born on June 6, 1920, at Gascoyne, N.D., daughter of Daniel and Theresa (Gunther) Klein. She attended country grade schools and graduated from Broadus High School. Read More	"Lucille Irene Bidwell, age 80, of Broadus, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2000, at her home. Lucille was born on June 6, 1920, at Gascoyne, N.D., daughter of Daniel and Theresa (Gunther) Klein. She attended country grade schools and graduated from Broadus High School. On July 10, 1937, Lucille and Roy Cyrus Bidwell were united in marriage at Miles City. Lucille and Roy drove trucks for her father, Dan Klein, and later she became a camp cook for logging camps in the Stacey area. Lucille and Roy moved to Olive, where they farmed and ranched until 1953, before returning to Broadus where they operated a small trucking operation until 1956. Then they moved to Ashland, where Roy worked for Ashland Lumber. In 1959, they leased and operated the Feed Bag Cafe. Following, she worked for Joe's Trading Post until 1965, when she went to work at the St Labre Mission as an executive secretary, retiring in 1985. After the death of her husband, Lucille moved to Broadus but continued working at the Mission. Lucille loved to go to Deadwood, S.D., play cards, hunt, bowl, crochet, build model airplanes and make craft bells at Christmas for her grandchildren. Most of all, Lucille loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She is survived by two sons, Dan C. 'Nick' Bidwell and his wife Kay of Volborg, and Don L. Bidwell and his wife Arlis of Harlem; four daughters, Irene 'Renie' Jackson and her husband Earl of Minnetonka, Minn., Darlene 'Dolly' Wheaton and her husband Walt of New Germany, Minn., Betty Walker and her husband Clark of Oak Ridge, Tenn., and Becky Mitchell of Forsyth; one brother, John 'Bub' Klein of Broadus; two sisters, Dorothy 'Dot' Haskin of Glendale, Ariz., and Isabelle 'Izzy' McDowell of Broadus; 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Roy. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 18, at 11 a.m. at the Powder River Congregational Church with Rev. Karalee Mulkey officiating. Interment will follow in the family lot in Valley View Cemetery." The Billings Gazette, November 16, 2000
