The daughter of Lawrence B. and Rose (Grane) Mosher, she was born on July 29, 1929, in Ashtabula, Ohio. Murch Tuesday, October 13, 2015 ASHTABULA — Lucille Jane Murch, age 86, died on Monday, Oct. 12, 2015, at Country Club Retirement Center where she had been a resident. The daughter of Lawrence B. and Rose (Grane) Mosher, she was born on July 29, 1929, in Ashtabula, Ohio. Lucille was a graduate of Ashtabula High School and for many years worked as a nurse’s aide for the Ashtabula County Nursing Home. On August 31, 1980, Lucille Mosher and James Murch were married in Pierpont, Ohio and together they celebrated thirty years of marriage. Lucille enjoyed playing cards with her friends and family and volunteering for the Country Neighbor Program. Lucille loved her family and enjoyed sharing her days with them. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren held a special place in her heart. Lucille is survived by her children, Katy Bernardez (Roger) of Pierpont, Judith Davis of Oxford, Pa., Rose DeMesa (Juan) of Thornton, Colo. and Frank Smegal (Peggy) of Conneaut; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Helen Sephia of Florida, Bessie Johnson of Texas, Laurie Dewey of Ashtabula, Lawrence R. Mosher of Nevada, and Mary E. Barnum of Ashtabula. Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, James Murch on May 18, 2011; daughter, Lee Beth Krenisky; son, Robert Lynn Smegal; and her parents. Funeral Services will be held 7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 15th, at WILLIAMS-DUCRO FUNERAL HOME, 1071 State Route #7 North, Pierpont, Ohio. The Rev. Dustin Liemgruber, Pastor of Pierpont Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be at Oakdale Cemetery next to her husband, Jim. Calling Hours will be observed from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 15th, at the Funeral Home. If desired, contributions in Lucille’s name may be made to the Country Neighbor Program, 36 S.
