Lucille Reiter, daughter of Ben and Laura Reiter was born June 3, 1922. She lived in Sioux Falls her entire life. She was united in marriage to Bill Parsons on October 6, 1944. Lucille was a homemaker, loving mother and caring friend. In the center of her life were her family and friends. She especially cherished the time spent with her children and grandchildren. She was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church (Formerly Little Flower) and was active in the Altar Society. She also spent many hours volunteering at Laura B. Anderson School as a room mother, PTA officer, and classroom helper. She loved helping others. Grateful for having shared her life are her five children, Bill Jr. (Del Rae) Parsons, Rapid City, SD; Larry (Nancy) Parsons, Chancellor, SD; Doug Parsons (Ryan Brothers), Cable, WI; Sandy (Lon) Kouri, and Kristie (Phil) Schreck, both of Sioux Falls, SD; eight grandchildren, Steve (Shawn) Parsons, Colorado Springs, CO; Danny Parsons, Rapid City, SD; Tracey Gaswint, Sioux City, IA; Matthew and Michaela Kouri, Jacob, Samantha and Madeline Schreck, all of Sioux Falls, SD; four great-grandchildren, Tyler, Nicole, Mckenzie and William; two brothers, Len (Donna) Reiter, Richard (Angie) Reiter; three sisters, Loretta Van Nostrand, Donna (Virgil) Page, and Mary Long. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, four brothers, one sister and her parents.
