Description	:	(Neiswender) Lucille Lou Maxine Lane (Neiswender), 82, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2010 at her home at Rolling Hills Assisted Living Center. Lou was born in Silver Lake in May 16, 1927 and attended school in a one room schoolhouse. She went on to graduate from Topeka High School in 1945. She married Harry Lane on May 27, 1947. She worked at the Kansas Highway Patrol for over 28 years. She is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Harry V. Read More	(Neiswender) Lucille Lou Maxine Lane (Neiswender), 82, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2010 at her home at Rolling Hills Assisted Living Center. Lou was born in Silver Lake in May 16, 1927 and attended school in a one room schoolhouse. She went on to graduate from Topeka High School in 1945. She married Harry Lane on May 27, 1947. She worked at the Kansas Highway Patrol for over 28 years. She is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Harry V. Lane, an infant son, Randy Lee Lane, her mother and father, Harry and Florence Comstock Neiswender, and two brothers, Everett and Roland Neiswender. Lou is survived by four children, Harry Vaughn (Lee Ann) Lane, Vicki (Joe) Renteria, Gary (Linda) Lane, and Julie (Karl) Werbovetz. Lou also is survived by eight grandchildren, Scott (Ann), Brian, Tammy (Ken), Heather (Marc), Christy, Luke, Ben, and Graham, and seven great grandchildren, Shayne, Paydon, Austin, Taylor, Gwen, Paige, and Abby. Over the years, Lou and Harry enjoyed travelling throughout the country and into Mexico and Canada. She especially enjoyed visiting with family, doing word search puzzles, and playing Bingo. Her family will miss her contagious laugh and unconditional love. Graveside services will be Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the P.G. Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Rose Garden at Gage Park and sent in care of the Davidson Funeral Home. Published in Topeka Capital-Journal on February 28, 2010
