At the age of 19 she was married to David Voyles who preceded her to the grave about 17 years ago. To this union were born the following children, Barbara E., Azariah D., Emma R., Amos, James and Jasper, all of whom are left to mourn their loss. Married March 29, 1867. ∼Mrs. David Voyles Lucinda Crandall, daughter of Azariah and Elizabeth Crandall, was born May 27, 1848 died Feb. 7, 1917 age 68 years, 8 months and 20 days. At the age of 19 she was married to David Voyles who preceded her to the grave about 17 years ago. To this union were born the following children, Barbara E., Azariah D., Emma R., Amos, James and Jasper, all of whom are left to mourn their loss. Barbara and James who preceded their mother to the grave several years ago. The deceased leaves two sisters, Mrs. Amanda Bishop and Mrs. Christina McPheeters, also several grandchildren. Mrs. Voyles was a kind and loving mother; a good honest neighbor and she was loved and respected by all who knew and associated with her. This respect and friendship was fully demonstrated by the large concourse of people who attended her funeral at the Big Spring church. Her funeral was conducted by Eld. Samuel H. Mitchell who had known her for many years at 11:30, Sunday February 18, 1917. Her remains were deposited in the Big Spring Cemetery.
