Description	:	Lucius was the second oldest of about ten children born to Clark and Cynthia Young. He enlisted September 29, 1862, serving in the 23rd Infantry, Co. C., and mustered out July 15, 1863. Lucius married Millie Norris of East Livermore. They had one child, Emma B. born about 1866. It appears that Emma was really their niece, the eldest of five children born to Orman and Cynthia E. (Young) Hines, who were from Hartford and resided in Yarmouth. Orman died in 1910, and Cynthia died in 1924. Emma married Fred H. Mitchell and is buried in Turner. He remarried to Melvina V. Davis about 1886. In 1919, two years after Lucius died, Melvina donated a lot of land in Lucius' memory for the Livermore library.
