Co., passed away very quietly at the home of Mary and Marjorie Wamboldt in Middlewood on Dec. 2, 1977 at the age of 87. Born in Petite Riviere on June 3, 1890, she was the daughter of the late William and Ada (Publicover) Connolly. She is survived by two daughters, Shirley (Mrs. Edward Wolfe) West Covina, California; Faye, (Mrs. Gerald Suthern) North Bay, Ont.; Lyle, Wilmot, Annapolis Co., and Waldo at home; one sister Carrie (Mrs. Arthur Wamboldt) Camperdown; two brothers, Fred of East Port Medway and Sam of Harbour View Haven in Lunenburg and seven grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Ernest, one brother William, a sister Minnie and one grandchild. She was a member of Epworth United Church in New Germany and has always kept in good health, other than an accident 11 years ago, which confined her to a wheel chair but she has always been able to enjoy travelling to the U.S.A. to visit relatives and friends with whom she worked and lived in her early life before her marriage which brought her to Watford. She was able to enjoy the visits to and from her friends, relatives and neighbors right up until the time of her passing. Funeral service was held in Epworth United Church in New Germany on Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. conducted by Rev. F.E.A. MacPherson of New Germany. Interment followed at Indian Brook Cemetery where she was laid to rest beside her late husband. Pallbearers were Messrs. Gerald Wentzell, Lorraine Silver, Philip Jodrey, Bruce Jodrey, Oscar Silver and Clyde Jodrey. Rosemary Rafuse
