Description	:	She was the second daughter and the fourth child, of nine, born to Thomas and Sophronia S. (Thayer) Grimes. She was a resident of Mountain Lake Park for thirty-nine years, and owned a dwelling property there at the time of her death. In January of the present year (1936) she went to Elkins, to visit a daughter, at whose home she died of pneumonia, after an illness of four days. She was the widow of Thomas Henry Cornwell, whom she married on June 7, 1871 at Cumberland, Allegany, Maryland. He preceded her in death on June 29, 1914. At the time of her death she was survived by four of her five children; Robert Lee Cornwell, of Glasgow, Montana, Mary Adelaide Matthews, of Harlowton, Montana, Mrs. Eleanor Harrison Wainer of Elkins, West Virginia, and Stephen Hamilton Cornwell of Havre, Montana. A brother, James Walter Grimes, of Aurora West Virginia, and a sister, Mrs. Mary L. King, of Oakland also survive her. One son, Thomas William Cornwell, is deceased. She leaves, besides her immediate family, thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was a member of the St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Oakland for thirty years. Funeral Services were held at the Leighton Funeral Home on Tuesday afternoon, March 24th with the Rev. Charles Shilke, pastor of the Lutheran Church, officiating. Interment was made in the Oakland Cemetery.
