Description	:	Highland Recorder August 13, 1943 Mrs. Lucy Halterman, wife of the late Andrew J. Halterman of Lower Strait Creek died at the home of her son-in-law & daughter Mr. & Mrs. Perry Puffenbarger, north of Monterey on Thursday morning August 12. She had been in failing health for some time her condition becoming worse two weeks ago. She was the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. William Bowers and was in her 88th year. Surviving are four sons: John, Ab, Rob and Will; four daughters Mrs. Eddie Tidd, Mrs. Margaret Puffenbarger, Mrs. Bessie Harris, Mrs. Rosa Echard, all of this county.
