Miller was born near Uniontown, Fayette County, Pa., March 25, 1845. When she was six years of age the family moved to Adamsville, Muskingham Co., Ohio, and from there to Bonaparte, Iowa, in April 1854. She was married Oct. 16, 1866 to Geo. W.
