(Special to the News) Mrs. Lucy Davis, who has been sick with a complication of diseases for the past two months, passed away Sunday about one o'clock. For the past three years she made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Albert Lamb. She was the mother of six children -- Mrs. Jennie Clark of Nebraska; Mrs. Dollie Vincent of San Pedro, California; Mrs. Ida Long, Mt,. Pleasant; Charles of Moulton, Ia.; Bert of Missouri; and Mrs. Hannah Lamb of Salem, all of whom have been at her bedside since her illness, as has also her two sisters, Mrs. Jack, of Ft. Madison And Mrs. Wheat of Shenandoah, Ia. Mrs. Davis was a good woman and by her quiet unassuming ways won for herself many friends.
