During that time, although she prayed often times for release from her pain, she was withal a cheerful and uncomplaining sufferer. Lucy Prudence Crosier was born at Euclid, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, on April 18, 1840. There she grew to womanhood, and there at the close of the Civil War she was united in marriage with John B. Abraham who died only a little more than two months ago, on Oct. 28, 1925. Soon after their marriage the young couple came to Bremer County, Iowa, taking up their home on a farm in Lafayette Township, where they remained until six years ago, when they gave up active farming and came to make their home in Waverly. They purchased the comfortable residence on South Harlington Street which has since been their home. During the years of 1917 and 1918 they spent the winters in Florida, but failing strength and health has since compelled them to remain closer to their home. While they resided upon the farm they were most successful in its operation, and their farm property was one of the finest country homes in this section of the state. Mr. and Mrs. Abraham were the parents of three children, Bremer Abraham who lives north of Waverly, Mrs. A. Woodmansee of Cleveland and R. R. Abraham. Funeral services will be held on Sunday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock in the M. E. church in this city, the pastor, Rev. Clifford Bacon, officiating. Burial will be in Harlington Cemetery
