Description	:	March 1987 - Carroll Daily Times - Mrs. Henry (Lucy) Kitt, 80, of 114 S. Carroll St., died Wednesday. March 18 at St. Anthony Nursing Home in Carroll, where she had been a resident the past two years. Mass of the Christian burial will be celebrated by the Rev. David Hemann at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 21, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Jennifer Kitt will serve as lector and mass servers will be grandchildren, Jeff, Scott and Brian Kitt. Born March 23, 1906 at Roselle, she was a daughter of John J. and Elizabeth Mattes Klocke. She was educated at Holy Angels School in Roselle. She was married by the Rev. Louis Anthofer to Henry M. Kltt on Sept. 12, 1934, at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Roselle. Mrs. Kitt was a member of Holy Spirit Church, Holy Spirit Ladies Guild, Legion of Mary, and Catholic Daughters of America. Survivors include her children: Jerome Kitt and his wife, Ione, of Fort Dodge, Mrs. Larry (Mary Jane) Loew of Maple River, Dennis Kitt and his wife, Barbara, of Denlson, Don Kitt of Carroll, Michael Kltt and his wife, Mary Lou, of Des Moines, Larry Kitt of Crystal, Minn., Patricia Kltt of Hermosa Beach, Calif., and Paul Kitt and his wife, JoAnn, of Des Moines: 19 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two sisters, Mary H. Klocke of Carroll and Mrs. Norbert (Helen) Fehring of Lake View; and one brother, Edward Klocke of Carroll. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Henry, in February 1984.
