Ludmilla Streeck, daughter of John and Kundigundi (Jaeger) Soppe, was born March 21, 1906, at Worthington, Iowa. She moved with her parents to a farm near White Lake where she attended school through the eight grade. After graduation, she moved to Plankinton to work with George and Lucille Streeck who owned and operated a hatchery. While there, she met and married Walter Streeck on February 5, 1933. Mr. Streeck died in June 1961. She operated a dairy farm with her husband, was a seamstress and also cared for elderly people. Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Mrs. Connie Hill, Milbank, and Betty and Terry Jones, Plankinton; three grandsons, one granddaughter; eight great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter, and many nieces and nephews.
