'''''''''''''''' Butler County Press (David City, Nebr.), February 15, 1940, p. 1, col. 6 DEATH OF LUDVIK REZAC WAS ILL ONLY A SHORT TIME Funeral Services Were Held in Linwood Monday Afternoon Linwood, Feb. 13 – Ludvik Rezac, aged 64 years, three months and 21 days, passed away at his home near Linwood at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, following a short illness from bronchial pneumonia. Funeral services were held from the Linwood Z.C.B.J. Rezac, Joe Kracman and Emil Kracman. Interment was in the Linwood Hill cemetery. Mr. Rezac was born at Linwood on October 19, 1875. In 1901 he was united in marriage to Miss Mary Cuda. To this union one son was born, Albin Rezac of Schuyler. Following the death of Mrs. Rezac, Mr. Rezac was married to Miss Agnes Kracman in 1903. To them two sons were born, Leonard Rezac and Longin Rezac. The three sons survive as do four brothers, Frank Rezac and Joe Rezac, both of Gregory, S.D., Martin Rezac and Anton Rezac, both of Linwood.; one sis[ter] and two grandchildren. One brother, John Rezac, passed away on Monday, Jan. 29. Ludvik Rezac spent his lifetime on a farm and was a highly respected citizen in the community which he helped to develop and where he spent so many years. He was a member of the Z.C.B.J. lodge. __ Card of Thanks – We wish to express our heartfelt thanks for all the kindness shown us during the illness and at time of death of our dear father and grandfather.
