Bio by DG Bender ============================= Beulah, ND, Golden Jubilee Book, Pg# 310 - Ludwig Mathius Sailer came to America on May the 28th 1902 with his parents. He arrived at Ellis Island, New York on the ship SS "Kronprinz Wilhelm". He then spent six weeks in SD before moving to Mercer County, ND. Ludwig and his wife Salome, nee Erdmann homesteaded 2 quarter sections of land just north of Highway 200 about 3 miles from Beulah, and lived there until 1932. After the land was sold, the Sailer family moved to a farm west of Beulah. =============================
