Description	:	Mrs. Arnold (Luella) Brandon was born July 14, 1896 in Garfield Township, the daughter of the late Nels and Kristi Grimson. She was baptized and confirmed her faith in the Our Savior's Church at Hatton. She attended rural school in Garfield Township and was a graduate of Mayville Normal College, teaching at Akeley, Minnesota. She married Arnold Brandon March 4, 1931, at her farm home in Garfield Township. The couple were lifelong residents and farmers in Garfield Township east of Hatton. He died on July 3, 1975. She continued to make her home on... Read More	Mrs. Arnold (Luella) Brandon was born July 14, 1896 in Garfield Township, the daughter of the late Nels and Kristi Grimson. She was baptized and confirmed her faith in the Our Savior's Church at Hatton. She attended rural school in Garfield Township and was a graduate of Mayville Normal College, teaching at Akeley, Minnesota. She married Arnold Brandon March 4, 1931, at her farm home in Garfield Township. The couple were lifelong residents and farmers in Garfield Township east of Hatton. He died on July 3, 1975. She continued to make her home on the farm until becoming a resident of the Tri-County Nursing Home in Hatton in August of 1982. She was a member of the St. John Congregation and entered into rest on Dec. 28, 1982, at the Union Hospital at Mayville, N. Dak. She is survived by many Nephews and Nieces. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Henry, Gilbert and Nels and 6 sisters, Anna, Bertha, Clara, Emma, Nora and Minnie. Funeral services were held on Friday, Dec, 31, at 10:30 a.m. in the St. John Lutheran Church, Hatton, with Pastor Rudolph Berntson officiating. The soloist was Mrs. Adeline Grindland and her two selections were "Den Store Hvide Flok" and "The 23 Psalm." Honorary pallbearers were All Her Neighbors and Friends. The casket bearers were Russell Pladson, Rick Holter, David Holter, Leroy Beck, Odin Johnson, and Duane Foss. Committal was held in the Church.
