Va., and was a daughter of the late Lory Ernest and Elsie Mae Mathias Cullers. Mrs. Alger was a farmer and housewife. She was a member of the Rileyville Baptist Church and was a lifetime member of the Page Valley Sportsman Club. On April 21, 1951, she married Jacob E. "Gene" Alger, who survives. Alger and wife Marie Alger of Palmyra and Ricky L. Alger of Rileyville; a daughter, Debra C. Clamon and husband Shawn Clamon of Rileyville; a brother, Lory Elwood Cullers of Timberville' a sister, Alta Grace Fleming of Timberville; eight grandsons, Travis, Andy, Jason, Scott, Jeff, Chuck and Jeremy Alger and Lefton Good; three granddaughters, Jennifer Alger, Betsy Breeden and Sheena Alger; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Gordon Wayne Cullers. Burial in the Beahm's Chapel Cemetery.
