Luella Catherine Rohman, daughter of Walter and Mary (Schreiner) Rohman, was born in Hillsboro, ND on October 13, 1936. She attended Cummings, ND and Mayville, ND Schools. She married Lewis Schumacher on October 19, 1954, in Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Mayville, ND. She was an active part in the family farm. She milked cows, farrow hogs and drove grain truck. She was an active member in the Homemakers Club, and the organist for Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Reynolds for over 50 years. She also worked as a Teachers Aide at Central Valley Public School and then worked for the Grand Forks Public School System. She enjoyed golfing, gardening, music, camping, traveling and most of all, her grandchildren. After 50 years of marriage, Lewis passed away on March 18, 2005. While attending Grief Share Program, she met Ray LeClerc and God blessed them with a beautiful gift of a second marriage on September 30, 2006. Luella will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Ray; her son, Mark (Shelly) Schumacher and daughter, Sue Schumacher both of Reynolds, ND; four grandchildren, Brittany, Krystal, Adam and Jordan. Other survivors include sisters, Adeline Hayes, Fargo, ND, Delores (Don) Von Ruden, Mayville, ND; sister-in-law, Lucille, Sunnyside, WA, and brother-in-law, Don (Rose) Schumacher, Grand Forks, ND; step-daughters, Kim (Dana) Young, Thompson, ND, Heide (Charlie) Becker, Bloomington, MN, Holly (Dean) Ramsett, Edward AFB, CA and step grand children, Ashley, Seth, Bryce, Courtney, Charlie, Noah, Peyton and Paige. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Schumacher; her parents; brothers, Orville and Loyd Rohman. Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Reynolds, ND. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m., Monday with a 7:00 p.m. vigil service and a 4:30 p.m. rosary all at the church in Reynolds. Visitation will continue for one hour prior to the liturgy in the church on Tuesday. Burial: Calvary Cemetery, Reynolds, ND.
