She attended country school through eighth grade in Hanson County. Luella was united in marriage to Loren Janssen on September 30, 1947. Loren died shortly thereafter. Luella was born September 7, 1928 to John and Lydia Fauth of Emery, SD. She attended country school through eighth grade in Hanson County. Luella was united in marriage to Loren Janssen on September 30, 1947. Loren died shortly thereafter. She married Myron Browen on August 25, 1950. They farmed many years in Hanson County before moving to Emery where they lived until 1986 when Myron died. In 1996, Luella moved to Sioux Falls where she lived in her own home until moving to Bethany Home in January of 2016. Luella enjoyed talking to friends, baking, reading and being with family. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Sioux Falls and volunteered many hours at Sanford Hospital. Survivors include her two children: Connie Janssen of Sioux falls and Rod Browen (Nan) of Loveland CO; three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; Adam Browen (Carrie) and children Isaac, Owen, and Elam of Colorado Springs, CO; Sara Johnson (Eric) and their children Taylor, Jeremiah and Aiden of Fort Collins, CO; and Becca Egan (Jon) and children Kylie, Kaden, and Ava of Loveland, CO, one brother and sister of Sioux Falls, Bessie Lehr and Gene Fauth (Martha). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and her “other” daughter Jan McEntee of Sioux Falls. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Lydia Fauth, husbands Loren Janssen and Myron Browen, her brother-in-law Roger Lehr, and sister-in-law Gertrude Fauth. Funeral services for Luella will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday June 8, 2017 at the First Baptist Church, 22nd and Covell in Sioux Falls, SD. Visitation with family present will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday June 7, 2017 at Heritage Funeral Home. 4800 S. Minnesota Ave, Sioux Falls, SD. - Heritage Funeral Home
