She was born in Ogden, Iowa, the eighth of nine children, to Lena Nanke Jipp and the Rev. Carl E. Jipp. She was raised in Ogden and graduated from Ogden High School. She married Fred E. Read More	Luella Anderson, longtime resident of Harcourt, Iowa, died at the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames, Iowa of congestive heart failure. She was born in Ogden, Iowa, the eighth of nine children, to Lena Nanke Jipp and the Rev. Carl E. Jipp. She was raised in Ogden and graduated from Ogden High School. She married Fred E. (Pinky) Anderson of Boone on March 24, 1934. They moved to Harcourt, Iowa, in the late 1930's where she continued to live until her death. While living in Harcourt she was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Dayton, Iowa, where she served as a faithful Sunday School Teacher for many years. Her family and community benefited from her many acts of caring and generosity. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her sisters and brothers. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, grandnieces and nephews, great grandnieces and nephews, great-great grandnieces and nephews and many godchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at the Trinity Lutheran Church of Boone. Rev. Bruce Lakamp will officiate. Burial will be in the Linwood Park Cemetery of Boone. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 18, at the Schroeder ~ Walter Funeral Home, Fifth & Story Streets of Boone from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Family will be present at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Tuesday at the church from 9:00 a.m. to the service time at 10:30 a.m. Memorials may be given to the Trinity Lutheran Church of Dayton or the Israel Family Hospice House of Ames.
