Description	:	Luella "Lou" Mae Hoppe died Jan. 15, 2008, at St. Vincent Healthcare in Billings. She was born Aug. 11, 1933, in Billings, to Alma and LaVern Kilfoy. She lived the majority of her life in Billings and attended Billings schools. She married Byron Hugo Hoppe on May 14, 1953, and they later divorced. Luella raised their five children with the support of her family. Luella was a floral designer for Gainan's for 33 years. She lived the majority of her life in Billings and attended Billings schools. She married Byron Hugo Hoppe on May 14, 1953, and they later divorced. Luella is survived by her one brother, LaVern (Judy) Kilfoy of Billings; sister Jeanie (Gene) Cunningham of Fallon, Nev.; brother-in-law Joe Zahn of Billings; four sons, Byron Hoppe, Donald Jay (Karin) Hoppe, Gary (Tammy) Hoppe, Harold (Verleen) Hoppe, all of Billings; one daughter, Terrie (Steve) Winscot of Helena; 17 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at Smith's Downtown Chapel, 925 S. 27th St., Saturday, Jan. 19, at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Luella had a great passion and love for her family, and always had an open heart and open door. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Billings Boys and Girls Club.
