TRINITY – LuEllen Loflin Morgan, 53, a resident of Trinity passed away Saturday, July 7, 2012. She was born on February 14, 1959, in Randolph County, NC, to Wayne Loflin and Louise Webster Loflin. She was a 1977 graduate of Randleman High School and received her undergraduate degree in psychology from UNC Chapel Hill in 981, and her graduate degree in sociology in 1982. She retired as the Exceptional Children Facilitator from the Randolph County School System this year after 30 years of service, having worked with exceptional children at Southwestern Randolph High School for 20 years. TRINITY – LuEllen Loflin Morgan, 53, a resident of Trinity passed away Saturday, July 7, 2012. She was born on February 14, 1959, in Randolph County, NC, to Wayne Loflin and Louise Webster Loflin. She was a 1977 graduate of Randleman High School and received her undergraduate degree in psychology from UNC Chapel Hill in 981, and her graduate degree in sociology in 1982. She retired as the Exceptional Children Facilitator from the Randolph County School System this year after 30 years of service, having worked with exceptional children at Southwestern Randolph High School for 20 years. She also coached cheerleading at Southwestern for 17 years. LuEllen was a lifelong member of Marlboro Friends Meeting where she was involved with the Relay for Life and played handbells. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and spending time with her friends and family. She was preceded in death by her mother. She is survived by her husband, Mark Morgan, whom she married on April 26, 1997; her children, Madelyn Luise Morgan and Wyatt Roger Morgan; her father, Wayne Loflin; her sister, Linda Loflin Thuotte and husband, Roger; her brother, Clifford Loflin and wife, Patsy. Also surviving are her nieces and nephews, Laura T. Bibb and husband, Ben, Daniel W. Loflin, Rachel L. Maguire and husband, Chris, Greg M. Thuotte, Garrett Morgan, and Ella Brooke Morgan, and a grand nephew, Luke Bibb. A service to celebrate LuEllen's life will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday, July 9, 2012, at Marlboro Friends Meeting with Minister Ricky Sessoms officiating. Interment will follow in the meeting house cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday following the service, in the Family Life Center of Marlboro Friends Meeting. Memorials in LuEllen's memory may be sent to the Relay for Life Team or the Memorial Association at Marlboro Friends Meeting, 2668 Marlboro Church Road, Sophia, NC 27350.
