Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Eldora, with Father Kevin Earleywine officiating. LuEtta's final resting place is in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. LuEtta Marie Wurr was born on December 19, 1925, on a farm near Breda, Iowa, the daughter of Emil and Frances (Skalla) Wurr. LuEtta Marie Wurr was born on December 19, 1925, on a farm near Breda, Iowa, the daughter of Emil and Frances (Skalla) Wurr. She attended Annunciation school in Coon Rapids, Iowa, through the eighth grade. On February 5, 1947, LuEtta married Wayne LeVerne Cashatt in Coon Rapids, Iowa. They sponsored 40 foster children. LuEtta had a strong love and passion for the Lord, and she was given such a huge heart. LuEtta was an amazing cook and used her talents as a coordinator for Meals on Wheels for almost seven years. She loved all of the kids the same and would make sure they all knew how much love they had with her. She was a proud 52-year member of the St Mary's Catholic Church and helped cleaning the church for a few years. LuEtta was also a religious education teacher and director for 22 years and loved being able to combine two of her most cherished things together and that was the love of her Lord and the children she taught. Surviving are her children, Gary Cashatt, Tim Cashatt, and Margaret Wagner; two sons-in-law: one daughter-in law; siblings, Dennis Wurr, and June Anthofer; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
