"Luke Ingmand removed from Fairfield Co, Oh to the SW quarter of section 11, Mohican twp in Sept 1816. His family consisted of his wife and two children, the present Judge Edmund Ingmand, and Mrs. Mary, wife of Joshua Carr, now residing in Wood County, Ohio. Mr. Ingmand is now (Dec 1861) nearly 89 years of age, and an inmate of the family of his son."
