FRED HEPPERLE Relatives here received word Monday of the sudden and unexpected death of Mrs. Fred Hepperle of Fort Dodge, who was formerly Lulu Bell of this place and a daughter of Albert Bell. She had been ill but a short time and had given birth to a fine baby boy, thus sacrificing her life that her son might live. She passed away Sunday, June 13, 1926, at the age of 37 years, 5 months, 26 days. The remains were brought to this place and funeral services were held from the local M.E. Church yesterday afternoon and were conducted by the pastor, Rev. Chas. H. Flesher. Interment was made in Oakwood Cemetery. OBITUARY Lulu Bell was born in Nebraska, December 17, 1897. She was one of eight children born to Albert and Viola Bell. She became the wife of Fred Hepperle of Fort Dodge, March 20, 1916. To them three children were born: Maurine Orabell, aged 8 years; Viola Lavonne, aged four and Robert Dean, the infant son whom she left. Besides the husband and children, she leaves her father, two brothers, John B. of Stratford and Bert of Detroit, Mich.; four sisters, Mrs. Winnie Morris of Stratford, Mrs. Mabel E. Smith of Jefferson; Mrs. Vera Nelson of Boone and Mrs. Easter Stewart of Burt. There are also F.L. Denton of Raymond, Minn. and Mrs. Lillie Bricker of Stratford, a half brother and sister by her mother's first marriage and two half brothers and a half sister by her father's first marriage: Lloyd Bell of Stratford and Earl Bell and Mrs. Jennie Casebolt of Ellwood, Nebraska. The host of friends of the Bell family extend their heartfelt sympathy to them in their sorrow.
