She was married to James Elliott in 1895,, and he passed away October 3, 1942. Mrs Elliott was a member of the Methodist Church of Angola, and remained active in the church activities so long as her health permitted. She was a member of the WSCS, the Carpe Diem Club, and he Angola Garden Club. She lived a useful and beautiful life, and has been a source of inspiration to all those who knew her. Her theme of life was "to live for others" and she always opened her heart and her home to all. During her long illness, she was cheerful, patient, and appreciative, and enjoyed being remembered by her many friends, neighbors, and relatives. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs Brown, of Fort Wayne, and Dorcas Lancaster, of Lima, Ohio; a brother, William Zurbrugg, of Ashley; and many nieces and nephews. Services were held Tuesday at the Weicht Funeral Home conducted by Russell Handy, and burial was Mount Zion cemetery.
