Read More	Lulu Adudell Usher, daughter of Howard Franklin and Florence Miller Aduddell, was born January 16, 1896, in Indiana. She departed this life September 13, 1965, at the age of 69 years, 7 months and 27 days. She was united in marriage to Kyle C. Hopwood December 22, 1915. To this union were born two children, Mary Hopwood Cooter and Robert C. Hopwood, now of Omaha. Lulu was wed to William E. Usher September 18, 1942. They moved to Fairmont in 1946, where Mr. Usher preceded her in death October 22, 1958. She leaves to mourn her passing her son and daughter; one granddaughter, Susan Hopwood; two brothers, Royal of Redmond, Wash., and Edson of Keswick, Ia.; three sisters, Frances Dewitz of St. Charles, Ill., Marguerite Warren of Sarasota, Fla., and Kathryn Lefforge of North Manchester, Ind. Funeral services were held Wednesday, September 15, at 2 p.m. at the Kritner-Farmer Funeral Home in Fairmont with Re. Leonard Harwig officiating. Oliver Moul, accompanied by Mrs. A.P. Stewart sang "Beyond the Sunset" and "My Faith Looks Up to Thee." Pallbearers were Richard Bures, Robert Eckerdt, William Jorgensen, Gailord Philson, LeRoy Plock and Francis Schepers. Interment was in the Fairmont Cemetery. The Nebraska Signal September 16, 1965 page 4. Daughter of Howard Franklin and Florence (Miller) Aduddel. Married Kyle G. Hopwood on December 22, 1915. Kyle passed away on March 16, 1956, and is buried in the Golden Rod Cemetery, Deep River, IA. Married William Eastman Usher on September 18, 1942. William passed away on Oct. 22, 1956, and is buried in the Elwood,NE cemetery. Lot owner: Lulu Usher.
