Lulu Almedia Balderson, daughter of William and Della Schick Fryrear, was born December 14, 1895 at DeWitt, Nebraska. She spent her early life in that community. April 3, 1912, she was united in marriage to Perl L. Balderson at Lincoln, Nebraska. They established their home on a farm near Cortland, Nebraska. To this union were born twin sons and a daughter. The family has lived in the Holyoke and Amherst area since 1918. She was preceded in death by her husband; one son, Glen, in 1971; her parents William and Della Fryrear; two sisters, Edith Krauter and Ida Struckmeyer, and a brother, Charles Fryrear. She is survived by one son, Len Balderson, Amherst; a daughter, Mrs. George [Dorothy] Kramer, Ogallala, NE; a brother, Bill Fryrear, Atkinson, NE; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends. Attending the funeral from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Benson Balderson, Beatrice, NE; Mr. and Mrs. Vance Siedenburg, Laramie, WY; Mr. and Mrs. George Albert, Kevin and Robin Albert, Clatonia, NE.
