Description	:	Luther McGoldrick Luther Alvin McGoldrick, seventh youngest child of Lemoine (Tone) McGoldrick and Frances Ann (Leedom) McGoldrick, was born September 13, 1901 in Schuyler County, at the McGoldrick home place near Glenwood, Mo. He departed this life Tuesday evening, March 16, 1971 at the Laughlin Hospital in Kirksville, Mo., where he had been a patient the past week, at the age of 69 years, six months and three days. He is survived by his wife, Ruby, two sons, James Alvin McGoldrick of rural Lancaster, Luther Dale McGoldrick of Kirksville, Mo. and one daughter, Mrs. Joseph (Betty Frances) Sebolt of Lancaster, Mo., three grandsons, Wayne, Eldon and David Mark McGoldrick, two granddaughters, Laurie Mae McGoldrick and Leisa Sebolt. He is also survived by two brothers, Everett McGoldrick of Ottumwa, Ia., and Leon McGoldrick of rural Glenwood, Mo., and one sister Mrs. W. O. (Edna) Wright of Centerville, Ia., several nieces and nephews. Luther was a well known and prominent Schuyler County farmer, growing to manhood and spending his entire life in the vicinity northwest of Glenwood, where he was born. He was baptized into Christ as a young man. He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Elmer McGoldrick in February 1956 and two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Ford in January 1963 and Mrs. Mae Whitlow in October 1970. Luther was happiest when helping friends and neighbors and having his children and grandchildren near.
