Description	:	The following obituary is courtesy of Kathy Burr (FAG member #47226369): Death On Thursday Of Luther Caleb Worley Litchfield --Luther Caleb Worley was born September 15, 1866 at Danville, Illinois and passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Roy Arnett, after a lingering illness, on Thursday, February 24, 1938 at the age of seventy-one years, five months and nine days. He moved, when a small boy, with his parents, to Ulysses, Nebr., where he grew to manhood. He moved, when a small boy, with his parents, to Ulysses, Nebr., where he grew to manhood. In 1889, he was united in marriage to Alice [sic] Maude Jackson of Ulysses and they made their home on a farm near Ulysses until the spring of 1914 when they moved to Litchfield. His wife preceded him in death in January, 1932. When a young man he united with the Methodist church at Ulysses. His many friends will remember him as a fine friend and neighbor. He was very much devoted to his home and family. He leaves to mourn his death, three daughters and two sons. The daughters are Mrs. Edith Russel [sic] of Ulysses, Mrs. Olive Curtis of Neligh, Mrs. Rosa Arnett of Litchfield. The sons are Willard of Litchfield and Ben of Coravalis, Oregon. Two daughters died in early childhood. Short funeral services were held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Arnett at 10:00 A. M. Friday, conducted by Rev. Carl Kiser of the Nazarene church.
