Mr Marshall was unconscious since stricken. Taylor Marshal was born in Clayton County, Illinois on March 19, 1878, being the son of Noah and Mary Jefferson Marshall. He came with his parents to the Elliott community as a young man and resided there and near Griswold until 1917, being engaged in farming. He was united in marriage to Cora Belle Peck of Elliott on October 19, 1904. In 1917, Mr. and Mrs. Marshall and family moved to Lewis, which has since been their home. Surviving are his sorely bereaved widow; three sons Russell, Taylor, and Otis, all of the Lewis community; and five daughters, Miss Mollie of Lewis, Miss Madrid of Des Moines, Mrs. Veta Schroeder of Galesburg, Illinois, Mrs. Cecil Conner of Atlantic, and Mrs. Cora Lewis of Seattle, Oregon. Also surviving are six sisters and four brothers, 12 grandchildren, besides numerous other relatives and a host of friends. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from the Lewis Methodist Church, of which the deceased was a member. The services were in charge of Rev. Jay N. Wateran, Lewis Pastor and Rev. A.
