Description	:	Dubuque Telegraph Herald Monday 23 Jan 1922 Mrs. Thera Bixby True died at her home northwest of Edgewood, Jan. 16. Mrs. True was the daughter of Rev. R.M. and Ruby Bixby, who as missionaries of their church, came to Iowa in 1846. On August 19, 1874, she was married to Rev. C.H. True and to them were born three children, Earnest, Clyde, and Mable, all of whom with her husband survive. She is also survived by a brother, R.J. Bixby, of Edgewood and Mrs. Parke Buckley of Strawberry Point. Mrs. True was a very talented lady,... R.M. and Ruby Bixby, who as missionaries of their church, came to Iowa in 1846. On August 19, 1874, she was married to Rev. C.H. True and to them were born three children, Earnest, Clyde, and Mable, all of whom with her husband survive. She is also survived by a brother, R.J. Bixby, of Edgewood and Mrs. Parke Buckley of Strawberry Point. Mrs. True was a very talented lady, active in church and neighborhood social work. For 37 years she acted as president of the Woman's Christian Temperance Union. Her funeral was held at the Methodist church Thursday morning and was largely attended.
