Born April 2, 1879, in Van Buren County, she was the daughter of the Rev. L.H. and Mary Williams. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Etha Martin of Ottumwa, Miss Mabel Gardner, at home, Mrs. Helen Wilson of Ottumwa, and Mrs. Pearl Reifsnyder of Ottumwa; four brothers, Cephus Williams of Mesa, Ariz., O.P. Williams of Ottumwa, Henry Williams of Bonaparte, and Arch Williams of Ottumwa; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, one son in infancy and another son, Lester C. Gardner, in 1952. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Reece Funeral Home in charge of the Rev. Donald Gill of the First Christian Church. Burial will be in the Ottumwa Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons.
