Description	:	DIED--On Tuesday, June 12, 1888, Mrs. Lydie McKibben, in her thirty-eighth year. She was married to Charles McKibben, March, 1881. She formerly resided in Winnebago, Illinois, and was a consistent member of the Presbyterian church of that place. She, with her husband removed to Nebraska and settled near Fairmont, 2 years ago, and transferred their membership to the Presbyterian church of this place, in whose communion she remained until she was called to the Church above. She has been called Home just in the prime of life. Though her residence here was brief, yet she... Read More	DIED--On Tuesday, June 12, 1888, Mrs. Lydie McKibben, in her thirty-eighth year. She was married to Charles McKibben, March, 1881. She formerly resided in Winnebago, Illinois, and was a consistent member of the Presbyterian church of that place. She, with her husband removed to Nebraska and settled near Fairmont, 2 years ago, and transferred their membership to the Presbyterian church of this place, in whose communion she remained until she was called to the Church above. She has been called Home just in the prime of life. Though her residence here was brief, yet she endeared herself to the hearts of many in the church and neighborhood where she resided. Quiet faithfulness characterized the discharge of all her duties to her household. Her last illness, though protracted, distressing and painful was borne with Christian fortitude and resignation. She had many tender and dear relationships in life to bind her to earth. She has left an affectionate husband, a beloved little boy, and a tender babe, whom she lovingly committed to the care of her Heavenly Father. She expressed a desire to have her friends linger near her while she passed through the dark valley, and while they tarried by her side, she passed from earth with a happy smile, lighting up her countenance, and peacefully and calmly as a child comes to its sleep at the close of the day. Her last hours were peaceful and full of blessed assurance of God's supporting grace through the dark valley into the Beautiful City. She has gone, but she is not forgotten.
