Dak. Rev. Gary Daines will officiate at the service. Mrs. Bonnie Clark will be organist and Mrs. June Enget, vocalist. Lydia Eliza Broughton was born July 2, 1893, at Yankton County, S. Dak., a daughter of James and Carrie Broughton. As a young lady, she came with her family to homestead near Ross. At the age of 18, she returned to the Yankton area, and married Hans Christian Anderson on December 19, 1911. She worked for the D. B. Gurney Seed Company. Later, they returned to homestead in the White Earth-Powers Lake area. She maintained the homestead while her husband was employed by the Great Northern Railroad. Hans died in 1952 and she returned to Sioux Falls to make her home until her death. Surviving are three sons, Ernest of Tucson, Ariz., Chester of Howard City, Mich., and Marvin of Brush, Colo.; two daughters, Evelyn Pritchard of Sioux Falls, S. Dak., and Kathryn Leffler of Columbia, Md.; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-greatgrandchildren; a brother, Earl Broughton of Spokane, Wash., and a sister, Clare Crowder of American Falls, Id.
