Mrs. Dwinell was a very aged lady and an attack of acute indigestion was the cause of her decease. She was born in Sheffield, July 19, 1819 where she lived a few years until the family moved to Madbury, N.H. Mrs. Dwinell was a very aged lady and an attack of acute indigestion was the cause of her decease. She was born in Sheffield, July 19, 1819 where she lived a few years until the family moved to Madbury, N.H. At her father's death, which occurred when she was eleven years old, her mother moved with the children to Glover, where she spent the rest of her life until she came to this village. Miss Lydia F. Miles was married to Albert Dwinell, June, 1837. Two children were born to them, named Ellen and Adelaide, both of whom she has outlived. Mrs. Dwinell was a member of the old Baptist church in Glover for several years. She was a woman of more than ordinary intellect, ladylike and kind and obliging as a neighbor and friend, she has always been a lover of home, a faithful wife and kind mother. For a number of years she has made her home with a grandson, Albert D. Abbott. She leaves several nieces, nephews, and one grandson. The funeral was held at the house on Friday, Rev W. A. Warner officiating and the interment was at the Glover village cemetery." (Orleans County Monitor, 2/19/1914)
