Description	:	"I'm Free." On Nov. 9, 1916, in a log cabin on the east side of Seitz-Ronan Road near Laurel, Lydia Feuerbacher Frank was born. She was the oldest child of Fred and Elizabeth Feuerbacher. Lydia graduated from Laurel High School in 1934 and received a two-year teaching certificate from Eastern Normal School, now MSUB. She taught school for two years at the Tucker School south of Bridger. Lydia was united in marriage to Sam Frank on July 21, 1938, and together they raised three children in Laurel. Lydia worked as a secretary at the West Elementary School, retiring in 1980. The Lord called Lydia home Monday, July 30, 2012, where she was united with her beloved, Sam. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband Sam, brothers Fred and George Feuerbacher, and son-in-law Merle Little. She is survived by her children Sammy Lee and Wanda Frank, of Silverton, Ore., Fredricka June (Rickie) Little, of Laurel, and Douglas Eugene Frank, of Laurel; her dear sister Helen (Cliff) Hanson, of Baker; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A celebration of her life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, at Laurel Baptist Church, 2920 Outfitter Trail in Laurel. Memorials may be made to Laurel Baptist Church, Special K Ranch or the charity of your choice. The family would like to thank the staff at Laurel Health and Rehabilitation Center for their kind and loving care of Lydia during her stay there.
