Description	:	Lydia Frank, 88, of Billings, born Lydia Reiter on June 15, 1912, to Heinrich and Susanna (Frank) Reiter, died Feb. 12, 2001, at St. John's Lutheran Nursing Home, where she resided. Lydia was a lifetime resident of Yellowstone County. On Dec. 31, 1931, Lydia married Alex H. Frank at the First Congregational Church in Laurel. She remained a member there until her death. Alex and Lydia farmed the Mackay Farm at Moss Main until 1952, when they moved to Billings. Lydia worked six years at Eastern Montana College as house mother in the boys dorm.... She was dearly loved by the your residents. She worked at Western Manor for nine years in the housekeeping department, where she gave each resident personal care and attention After retirement she continued working for family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alex, in 1984; her brothers, Alec and Herman; her sister, Martha Kautz; and great-grandson, Adam Frank. Survivors include her three sons, James (Bobbie) of Knoxville, TN, Dean (LaVerne) and Clinton (Judy) both of Billings; eight grandchildren, Terrie Underwood, Scott (Danita) Troy, Daron and Joshua Frank, Kimberley (Dean) Lehnen, Darden (Lisa) Frank and Jodee (Barry) Stein; 10 great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren; one brother, Henry (Helen) Reiter of Beach, ND; one sister, Emma Klein of Laurel; tow sisters-in-law, Lydia Reiter of Laurel and Wilma Reich of Portland, OR; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services were Thursday, Feb. 15, at the First Congregational Church in Laurel. Interment followed at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Billings. Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Home or the charity of choice.
