Description	:	Lyla Joan Seeman, 87, was called home to be with the Lord on July 26, 2017. A celebration of her life was held July 29 at Christ Lutheran Church, Bouton, Iowa with interment at People’s Cemetery near Bouton. Lyla was born Nov. 26, 1929 in Woodward, Iowa to Orville and Velma Olson. She had one brother, David. On June 26, 1955 she married Leslie Seeman. They raised two daughters, Rayla and Lori. Read More	Lyla Joan Seeman, 87, was called home to be with the Lord on July 26, 2017. A celebration of her life was held July 29 at Christ Lutheran Church, Bouton, Iowa with interment at People’s Cemetery near Bouton. Lyla was born Nov. 26, 1929 in Woodward, Iowa to Orville and Velma Olson. She had one brother, David. On June 26, 1955 she married Leslie Seeman. They raised two daughters, Rayla and Lori. Lyla volunteered her time with many organizations and activities in the community and was a member of Christ Lutheran Church. She was a wonderful cook and always made you your favorite. Until the last few months she continued to work at the Everett Albers Law Office in Woodward where she had worked for 27 years. She was always eager to help others and devoted her life to serving others in need. She is lovingly remembered and survived by her daughter Lori Carroll, grandchildren Wendy Cooper (Scott), Dan Ryan, Nicole Ryan- Eppert, David Carroll (Amber), and Lynae Carroll. Great-grandchildren Amanda, Lukas, Shelby, Morgan, Taylor, Hailee, and Konnor, and a great-great grandchild, Haidynne. Sons-in-law, Dick Ryan and Paul Carroll, and nephew, Randy Olson (Dee), and many friends and family. She was preceded in death and reunited in Heaven with her husband, Les, her daughter Rayla, her parents Orville & Velma, brother David and sister-in-law Delores.
