Read More	LYLE WARNER FOUND DEAD IN HIS AUTO NORFOLK BUSINESSMAN TAKES OWN LIFE WITH PISTOL, AUTHORITIES SAY Lyle Warner, part owner of the Kollman-Warner company, Norfolk, was found dead Saturday afternoon with a bullet hole in his head in his car which was parked on the canning factory road north of Norfolk. Police and county authorities said Warner had killed himself. Herb Uecker, who was working in a field near the road, said he noticed a car parked on the highway about 9 o'clock Saturday morning. When the car remained in the same place through the noon hour, Uecker said he became suspicious and he and some men with whom he was working decided to investigate. They went to the car about 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon and found Warner dead. Police said Warner had used a 410 pistol. Warner came to Norfolk several years ago as manager of the Sioux City Seed company. Later it was sold to the Michael Leonard See company, and Warner remained as its manager. A little more than a year ago, Warner purchased an interest in the company. Authorities said they had found no motive for the act. Warner is survived by his wife and one son, Juel, Norfolk high school athlete. (second article) Many friends from here and from out-of-town were present Tuesday to attend funeral services for Lyle Warner, part owner of the Kollman-Warner company, which were held at 3 o'clock at the First Presbyterian church with the minister, Dr. Ray Turner, officiating. Members of the Norfolk Rotary and Elks clubs were present in a body and also members of the senior high school football team of which a son, Juel, is a member. Music for the services was provided by a male quartet from the church, Dr. F. M. Perrigo, D. T. Bartlett, P. M. Orr, and Warren Taff, and also by Miss Mary Jeanette Ritchie, soloist. They were accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Cecil Wright. Mr. Warner, who was 40 years of age, was born Nov. 7, 1899 (incorrectly stated according to birth records), at De Smit (sic), S. D. He came to Norfolk a number of years ago as manager of the Sioux City Seed company. When it was later sold to the Michael-Leonard Seed company, Mr. Werner remained as the manager here, and a little more than a year ago, he purchased part interest in the company. He is survived by his wife and his son, Juel, Norfolk; his mother, Mrs. Myrtle Warner of Sioux Falls, S. D., and a brother, Clifford Werner, Sioux City. Burial was in Prospect Hill cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Herman Schilling, E. J. Dagendorfer, Lloyd Rouse, Adolph Rimovsky, Ernest Knebel, and Clarence Isaacson. Honorary pallbearers were Roy Kellman, Sioux City; Robert Walsh, Sioux City; Charles Campbell, Seward; Red Alderman, Norfolk; Richard Grillet, Iowa City, Donald Huck, Carroll.
