Read More	Lyle Warren Houghton, 64, was born Jan. 9, 1944, in Wenatchee, Was., and went to be with the Lord peacefully on Oct. 20, 2008, at his residence in Rochester, Wash. Lyle was a loving son to Ross and Muriel Houghton, from Chelan, where he grew up and attended Manson and Chelan schools. As an adult he moved to Anchorage, Ala. and worked on the Alaska Railroad – a job he loved until an injury forced him to retire from the railroad. He then found his niche in life working for the Anchorage School District as a bus driver. The kids loved him and he them. He always said that if he could work again it would be driving bus for the kids. Lyle enjoyed the outdoors and a slow paced life. He was man of few words, but had a great capacity to love. He had the ability to charm the socks off someone with just a gleam in his eye and a crook in his smile. His sense of humor was second to none and he always made light of a bad situation. That's our Daddy. His primary passion in life was his children and grandchildren. His other passion was NASCAR. If you visited him on NASCAR day you were expected to watch. He is survived by his daughter, Renee Dickson and husband Jeff and his two granddaughters, Kalli and Jenny, all of Phoenix, Ariz.; his stepson Neil Marx and his children, Scott and Phillip, of Bellingham, Wash.; his stepson Dave Hanson and Leslie and her children, Nicholas and Jessica, of Lacey, Wash.; his stepdaughter Mari Aiken-Valdez and her children, Sarah, Levi and Michael, of Washington state; and stepson, Steve Hanson and his son Patrick, of Calif. and Florida. Lyle is survived by his brother Keith Russel Houghton (1948-2014) and his family of Lakeview, Mich. Lyle was preceded in death by his parents, Ross and Muriel Houghton and young brother, Randy.
