Lynn graduated from Ames High School in 1960. She completed the legal secretary program through A.I.B. and was employed at the Iowa Department of Transportation. She married Larry Beach July 22, 1961. Together, they raised two daughters. She then worked for the Newbrough law offices, retiring in 2000. She loved shopping, antiquing, cooking, gardening, sewing and card games. She is survived by her siblings; husband and two daughters: 1. Kimberly Beach, of Ames, 2. Kristin (Dave) Huss, of Denver, Colo., and their two children, Madison and Mason. She was preceded in death by her parents.
