Description	:	Lynn Eugene Vetter, the son of Frank and Saloma (Springer) Vetter, was born in Aurora, Nebraska on January 23, 1921, and departed this life and entered The Eternal Home in Aurora, Nebraska on November 16, 2009, at 88 years of age. Lynn grew up south of Aurora, Nebraska on the family farm and attended country school through the 8th grade. Lynn grew up south of Aurora, Nebraska on the family farm and attended country school through the 8th grade. Lynn and Betty lived in Grand Island, Nebraska and he worked at the Grand Island Ordinance Plant for a short time before moving to California, where they lived from 1943 to 1944, when they returned to Grand Island, Nebraska and in 1945 they moved to Aurora, Nebraska Lynn owned and operated the Vetter Brothers Dodge Dealership in Aurora, Nebraska with his brothers. On July 29, 1942, he was united in marriage to Betty Marie Shaneyfelt in Aurora Nebraska. Betty passed away on January 29, 1994. Lynn married June Illian on August 16, 1998. Lynn was a member of the Aurora, Nebraska United Methodist Church and BPOE Elks in Grand Island, Nebraska. He served on the Aurora, Nebraska City Council, the Parks Board and was an Aurora, Nebraska Volunteer Fireman. Lynn enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting and Nebraska football. Lynn was welcomed into The Heavenly Home: by his parents, Frank and Saloma Vetter; wife, Betty Marie Vetter grandson, Deon Penner; daughter-in-law, Barbara Vetter; brothers, Ray, Max and Dale Vetter and sisters-in-law, Ruth and Doris Vetter. Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Michael Vetter of Alpharetta, Georgia; James (Teresa) Vetter of Lincoln, Nebraska; Jeffrey (Lori) Vetter of Fairbury, Nebraska and William Vetter of York, Nebraska; daughter, Judith (Keith) Penner of Aurora, Nebraska; brother, Robert (Roberta) Vetter of Aurora, Nebraska; sister-in-law, Della Vetter of Aurora, Nebraska; four stepsons and their families and a host of friends and relatives.
