Read More	The Madison Courier, Madison, IN Friday, March 18, 2016 Lyonal Morris Hysell, 90, of Madison, formerly of Switzerland County, died Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at University of Louisville Hospital. He was born March 8, 1926, in Patriot, to Clyde and Nora D. Phillips Hysell. He was raised and attended school in Switzerland County. He was in the Army from Dec. 14, 1945 to Jan. 22, 1947, rising to the rank of Private, serving during World War II. He was employed as a mechanic for Rising Sun White Star Garage for several years. He was also employed for Dodge & Plymouth Dealership in Rising Sun from 1950 to 1956. He was employed with Brown’s Garage in East Enterprise from 1957 to 1958. He was employed for the State Highway Garage in Madison from 1969 to 1980. He had resided in the Madison community since 1958. He farmed all of his life. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Ruby J. Ray Hysell, whom he married Dec. 18, 1954; two daughters, Brenda Kay McClure and Linda Fay Jump, both of Madison; two sons, Morris Eugene Hysell of Lexington and Randy Dale Hysell of Madison; four grandchildren; seven step grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; 11 step great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers, Delmont Hysell, Merideth Hysell, Dorman Hysell, Lowell “Lodie” Hysell, Adrian Hysell and Dewayne “Fuzz” Hysell; and five sisters, Belvadean Andrew, Armeda Drake, Sondra Hysell, Elma Jean Rayls and Elaine Lock. The funeral will be 1 p.m. Sunday at Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home in Vevay. Burial will be in Vevay Cemetery. Military rites will conducted graveside by the Vevay American Legion Post 185 Honor Guard and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5396. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to a charity of the donor’s choice.
