Read More	The Sterling Kansas Bulletin Sterling, KS Thursday, August 18, 1921 Page 2, Column 7 Mrs. Catherine Wright’s Obituary Mary Catherine Rule was born at Galion, Ohio, Nov. 6, 1861, and died at her home near Huntsville, August 10, 1921, aged 59 years, 9 months and 4 days. She was married to A. B. Wright, Nov. 23, 1882, at Bourbon, Ind. Her husband preceded her to the glory world five months and twenty-two days. They were long weary months and she longed to be with her husband. She came to Kansas in 1878. She was converted to a meeting at the school house in 1880, and in the same meeting that her husband was converted. She united with the church at that time and has been a faithful member since. Her home had been in the neighborhood for forty years and all knew her. She leaves to mourn her loss, her niece, Ethel Dear, three brothers and two sisters, James Rule, of Okla.; John and Edward Rule, Mrs. Alice Allen and Mrs. Rose Chinn, all of California; fifteen nephews, seven nieces and a host of friends of long acquaintance. The neighborhood lost a friend, the church a faithful worker. Funeral services were held at the Huntsville M. E. church Friday, August 12, conducted by Rev. W. L. Hinshaw, assisted by Rev. King, after which the remains of the deceased were interred in the cemetery near by. A large attendance of sympathetic relatives and friends were present. A heavy downpour of rain held the procession at the church for nearly an hour. ____ The Sylvia Sun Sylvia, KS Thursday, August 18, 1921 Page 1, Column 3 HUNTSVILLE NEWS A large crowd attended the funeral of Mrs. Bennie Wright who died August 10th at her home 1 ½ miles north of Huntsville just five months after her husband passed away. Since his death she has been in feeble health, many times expressing a desire to be with her companion. Her ailment and her husband’s were the same. She leaves a niece, Miss Ethel Dear who she has raised from infancy, three brothers and two sisters and many friends to mourn her loss. She was a very active member of the Ladies Aid and will be greatly missed. We, as a community, extend our deepest sympathy to Miss Ethel and relatives, and may God bless her, is the wish of a friend.
